Mums and dads ready to teach their infants to swim at Ferntree Gully’s new specialty swim school

Teaching babies to swim is quickly becoming the new norm as parents flock to JUMP! Swim Schools Ferntree Gully awaiting their upcoming opening on July 1st. Surprising statistics show that over 43% of JUMP! Swim Schools’ students are babies; the next most popular age group being preschoolers.

After spending the majority of her life in Ferntree Gully, JUMP! Swim Schools owner Danielle Hodges saw the need for a swim school that offered a more structured swim program for infants.

The mother of two witnessed first-hand the struggles her children and other parents faced in Melbourne’s busy metro swimming facilities, particularly after working in the aquatics industry for over 12 years.

Danielle said,

“I have worked in places where there is 8 to 10 classes going at once. At JUMP! we only have 2 classes running at once. This gives us the opportunity to really get to know each and every student.”

She has received a warm welcome from Ferntree Gully Mums and Dads and business owners.

“Everyone I have spoken to is really supportive and excited about the opening of a JUMP! in Ferntree Gully.

“Learning to swim is something I am really passionate about and I am looking forward to creating the opportunity for young children to develop a love of the water.”

The JUMP! Swim Schools Ferntree Gully open day will run from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, July 1, and will include free face painting, goody bags, cake, a sausage sizzle and tours of the facility.

JUMP! Swim Schools Ferntree Gully is at 10/1845 Ferntree Gully Rd.
