JUMP! Guildford Starts A Free Community Library

Owner and Operator of JUMP! Swim Schools Guildford, Anu Bedi, has been giving back to the Community in various ways since opening her school in May 2016.

Anu said,
“I have always been an avid reader myself and have fortunately instilled the same love of reading to my kids. Now that I have this opportunity with JUMP! Swim Schools Guildford, I decided to extend this love of reading to the Community and our JUMP! Guildford extended family.
We built this library at an environmental conservation event at the Bower Reuse & Repair Centre where we built the community library by hand. We believe in being environmentally-friendly, contributing towards society in a positive manner, and building a community around our swim school and the Community library.”
The Community Library motto is “Take a book, Bring a book, Return a book, Borrow a book”, with the swim school introducing a “Give a Book” basket for people to donate books.
“We hope to build and grow this love of reading to the kids within our community.”
With a plethora of awards under their belt, JUMP! Guildford also provides free Water Safety sessions at schools, libraries and preschools, and supports various charities such as Cancer Council and Project Generosity to name a few.
