Hundreds of kids learning to swim at Berwick JUMP!
Franchisee Marisa Rennie has dreamed of opening a swimming school where she knew every child’s name for some time. And now Berwick infants are benefiting from a new specialty swimming facility for children following the opening of a JUMP! Swim Schools franchise. It comes after Marissa Rennie saw a gap in the market following nine years working in the aquatics industry.
“I managed a pool with 3,000 students and 160 teachers and I didn’t feel that model worked,” Ms Rennie said.
“I wanted to have a personal connection with parents and children. I wanted to know their names and most importantly I wanted to see the kids progress and improve.
“I’ve always wanted to open my own swimming school and JUMP!s values, curriculum, personalised service and clear learning objectives really resonated with me.”
JUMP! instructors are expert in teaching babies from three months of age at small, intimate classes in an indoor pool heated to 32-33 degrees all year round.
JUMP! Swim Schools’ curriculum is a breakthrough in teaching babies the basic elements of swimming at a young age.
We use the best practices from learn-to-swim programs across the world and focus on the core elements of conditioning, buoyancy breath control and mobility.
JUMP! Swim Schools runs just two classes simultaneously, caps numbers at four per class and has crafted a competency-based program that focuses on the joy of participation and parental engagement in a fun and hygienic environment.
